getDigital was founded in 2002 by Philipp Stern and Florian Schatz with starting capital of a whopping 1000 euros. At the age of 11 or 12, the two started programming (at that time still in BASIC and with the C64) and then founded their own company at 18 and worked as code monkeys for the creation of different homepages and shop pages on behalf of customers.
